With America suffering with unemployment at 10.2% and headed higher, Nancy Pelosi and her House Democrat colleagues are stunningly out of touch. The change they are delivering is not the change they promised. Speaker Pelosi's massive health care takeover will destroy what is left of American small business. Every Democrat member of Congress who voted for this behemoth should be asked why they believe the new Health Choices Commissioner should be empowered to audit every employer's health care plan forcing small businesses to produce, on a moments notice, thousands of pages of documentation and detailed paperwork. What's more, if a small business owner's health care plan doesn’t meet the thousands of new regulations contained in the Pelosi bill, as well as the thousands of new regulations yet to be written, the federal government can rip the employees from their health care plan (even if they like it) and stick the employer with a steep penalty!
