You have got to see Attorney General Eric Holder's performance in front of the Judiciary Committee this week!

The Attorney General is asked if we caught Osama bin Laden on the battlefield tomorrow would he have to be read his Miranda rights. He stumbles, stammers, stares off at the ceiling, sputters out "um," "er," "uh," and finally says: "it would depend."

Senator Lindsey Graham then lectures him as a law professor would upbraid a first year criminal procedure student! Holder is equally inarticulate in trying to respond to Graham's question as to where bin Laden would be tried if we captured him on the battlefield! Senator Jon Kyl and others did a great job questioning him about this disastrous policy decision as well.

After watching, one has to ask, how could the Attorney General have not been prepared for these questions? And how, for that matter, could we have an Attorney General this inarticulate and unprepared?
